Flor de Lino lyrics
the waltz Flor de Lino chords is composed of two parts. It is quite simple to understand the structure and important to play.
Each part is composed of two verses and a refrain. The structure of the lyrics is like that :
Part 1 – Part 2
Part 1
The song Flor de Lino chords is a very famous Argentine waltz composed in 1946 by the poet Homero Expósito and the musician Héctor Stamponi.
This waltz (in 3 beats) tells us the story of a lost love or, better said, the story of the lost love that everyone has in himself.
A man, it seems, tells how many nights he waited for the sound of a linen flower, personification of a woman with whom he was and still is in love.
If, apparently, the lyrics of Flor de Lino are a bit sad, Homero Expósito teaches us something happier and deeper: “lost love” does not lead to perdition. That first image, engraved, that everyone has of love and that imaginary that a lost linen flower allows, leaves something more important burning forever, even in loneliness: hope.
